Essas caracter\u00edsticas podem propiciar uma \u00e1rea de maior vis\u00e3o, diminuindo os chamados pontos cegos, que s\u00e3o locais que bloqueiam a visibilidade do condutor. Carro com mais pontos de bloqueio significa carro menos seguro.<\/p>\n<p>E para auxiliar o consumidor a escolher ve\u00edculos mais seguros o CESVI BRASIL (Centro de Experimenta\u00e7\u00e3o e Seguran\u00e7a Vi\u00e1ria) criou o \u00cdndice de Visibilidade, que analisa a vis\u00e3o lateral, traseira, dianteira e d\u00e1 uma nota entre 0 a 5 estrelas para os ve\u00edculos com menor \u00e1rea de pontos cegos. Quanto maior a nota, melhor a visibilidade.<\/p>\n<p>Para elaborar o \u00edndice, os ve\u00edculos s\u00e3o posicionados em uma \u00e1rea demarcada no ch\u00e3o, onde s\u00e3o posicionados objetos-padr\u00e3o para cada tipo de \u00e1rea. As medi\u00e7\u00f5es das \u00e1reas frontais s\u00e3o realizadas com um obst\u00e1culo de aproximadamente 110 cent\u00edmetros de altura, que simula postes e tem altura aproximada de uma motocicleta. J\u00e1 para a an\u00e1lise da visibilidade traseira do ve\u00edculo, \u00e9 utilizado um obst\u00e1culo de 60 cent\u00edmetros de altura \u2013 correspondente \u00e0 altura dos ombros de uma crian\u00e7a de 3 anos. Isso \u00e9 muito importante, j\u00e1 que h\u00e1 muitos casos de atropelamentos de crian\u00e7as (\u00e0s vezes pelos pr\u00f3prios pais, na garagem de casa) por conta de uma vis\u00e3o traseira deficiente.<\/p>\n<p>Esses obst\u00e1culos s\u00e3o utilizados para varrer a diagonal dianteira, lateral e traseira do ve\u00edculo, identificando os pontos cegos do modelo. Essas \u00e1reas s\u00e3o calculadas e inseridas em f\u00f3rmulas<\/p>\n<p>matem\u00e1ticas para compor o \u00edndice. Quanto maior a \u00e1rea na qual \u00e9 poss\u00edvel visualizar todos os obst\u00e1culos, melhor \u00e9 a classifica\u00e7\u00e3o do ve\u00edculo no \u00cdndice de Visibilidade do CESVI.<\/p>\n<p>De acordo com Emerson Feliciano, superintendente t\u00e9cnico do CESVI BRASIL, \u201co \u00cdndice de Visibilidade tem como principal objetivo subsidiar os consumidores com embasamento t\u00e9cnico, sendo mais um par\u00e2metro para auxili\u00e1-lo na escolha de ve\u00edculos mais seguros\u201d, conclui o executivo.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Campe\u00f5es de
